A full-viewport poster that does not scroll. Moving the pointer across it wipes the lily away in a morphing trail and paints a second one underneath in exactly the same shape.

( Why )

Most work disappears.

Not badly — competently. It launches, it converts, and in eighteen months it is replaced by something that looks almost exactly the same. That is the honest fate of nearly everything made for a screen.

We are trying to make the other kind. The kind somebody screenshots without being able to say why. The kind that is still in your head on the drive home.

We do not always get there. When we do, it is never a trend and never a template — it is that someone on this side of the screen refused to stop at fine, and kept going a long time after the brief had been satisfied.
